Coach Tristen:

With over 45 years of experience in playing chess, Coach Tristen brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our chess club. Inspired by his grandfather, who taught him the game, coach Tristen started teaching chess to his son's TK class as a volunteer and moved on to coach middle school students as part of the after-school Academic Chess program for the Redondo Beach School District. His students from Palos Verdes affectionately know him as Coach T.
